Diana Martinez Alexander is a veteran educator with 26 years of classroom experience, including general and special education. She has long advocated for students, families, and educators, with a focus on academic excellence and equity. Diana’s priorities include investing in educators, improving student outcomes, and ensuring fiscal responsibility. She believes in strong community partnerships and transparent governance. Her experience gives her the insight to make informed, student-centered decisions on the board. Diana is ready to serve Spring Branch with the same passion and tenacity that have defined her career.

David Lopez
Position 6
David Lopez is a former 8th-grade English teacher and experienced school administrator. He has worked to improve school operations, governance, and student support systems with a strong focus on equity. As a nonprofit leader and small business owner, David has partnered with parents, educators, and community members to advocate for student-centered policies. His campaign is grounded in transparency, fiscal responsibility, and inclusive decision-making. David is running for the Spring Branch ISD Board of Trustees to ensure every student receives a high-quality education and every family has a seat at the table. His experience in schools and the community uniquely positions him to move SBISD forward.

Patricia Cabrera
Position 7
Patricia Cabrera is a lifelong community leader with decades of experience in engagement, development, and advocacy. She believes public education is the key to opportunity and is committed to making schools inclusive, equitable spaces for all students. Her priorities include ensuring representation in policy decisions, preparing students for future success, and supporting teachers. Patricia values schools as safe, trusted centers of learning and community. She champions strong partnerships between schools, families, and local businesses. Patricia is running to bring experienced, equity-focused leadership to the SBISD Board of Trustees.
